The diamond eternity ring

The eternity ring is set with diamonds all around its circumference. A line of light with no beginning and no end, symbolising a commitment forever. It can be worn alone, as a wedding band, or with an engagement ring.

Full or half eternity?

A full eternity ring is set all the way around the finger. A half eternity ring is set on the top only. The half eternity is more comfortable for everyday wear and easier to resize. The full eternity gives continuous sparkle, whatever the position of the ring.

Settings

• Claw setting: the diamonds are held by small claws. They are very visible and catch a lot of light.
• Channel setting: the diamonds sit between two metal walls. Discreet and very secure.
• Bead setting: tiny beads of metal hold the stones. Ideal for a fine, precious look.

Diamond cuts

The round brilliant is the most classic and the brightest. The emerald cut gives a more graphic, very elegant look. Oval and pear cuts add a more original touch. For a harmonious result, all stones must be well calibrated and matched in colour and clarity. This is where the diamond dealer's choice matters.

The key point: ring size

Because the diamonds go all the way around, a full eternity ring can hardly be made larger or smaller. Your exact ring size must be known before production. I measure it with you in my showroom, or guide you to measure it remotely.

Gold or platinum?

I make my rings in 18 or 14 carat gold (yellow, white or rose) and in platinum. Platinum is denser and very durable, a real advantage for a ring set all the way around.

For which occasion?

Wedding band, wedding anniversary, the birth of a child: the eternity ring marks life's great moments. It also pairs beautifully with a solitaire already worn. Every project starts with a 3D drawing, approved with you before production.
